Vital Signs: Commodity Supercycle Slows Down 2012


I’ve ventured into new research territory this year writing for Worldwatch’s Vital Signs series. The more I explored renewable energy technology the more I heard about precious metals and commodities, which led to wondering how those markets work. It’s not an exhaustive study, but it does give a bird’s eye view of how this market has behaved in the last decade and what that has meant for the global economy.
