One last parting shot before the year is out. Recall back in September I shared a look at the global commodities market. Taking a big step back for a high-level view of one individual market led to the authors asking me if I’d be interested in summarizing the global economy. There are some interesting trends. First among them: total gross domestic product of emerging economies is now roughly equal to that of all advanced economies.
